NYC Retina Center – Ophthalmology Clinic, New York, NY

On this highly specialized project, we transformed the building’s ground floor and basement into a retinal surgical center, beginning with a full gut down to the structure. Retinal work is microsurgery, among the most exacting specialties in medicine, and we built the clinical core to match it, with procedure rooms designed for the control that kind of surgery demands. The patient-facing side strikes the opposite note: consultation offices finished to feel calm and human. The result is a facility that’s clinical where it counts and reassuring everywhere else.
