• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other construction documents to prepare accurate and competitive project estimates
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site walkthroughs to gather essential project information
• Perform on-screen takeoffs and utilize estimating tools to develop detailed bid proposals
• Determine project scope, solicit bids from qualified subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure pricing accuracy and scope coverage
• Source subcontractors and suppliers based on project location and requirements, maintaining strong vendor relationships
• Develop RFIs and clarifications to address scope gaps and ensure complete understanding of project requirements
• Formulate value engineering options and cost-saving strategies to enhance bid competitiveness
• Maintain awareness of market conditions and industry trends to support strategic pricing decisions
• Participate in handover meetings with the project management team, clearly communicating estimate assumptions and supporting project kickoff
• Maintain organized bid documentation and ensure compliance with company standards and protocols
